This Capoeiracamp offers the amazing opportunity to train Capoeira with experienced instructors from Grupo Cordao Du Ouro in the wilderness of beautiful Tuscany, Italy. In contrast to a regular capoeira training event or a weekend workshop this event offers a week-long program which focuses on exploring the art of Capoeira in a relaxed, informal, retreat-like holiday setting. With this in mind, together with the capoeira training, other activities are combined in the programme including mountain walks, trips to waterfalls, morning yoga sessions and many other spontaneous happenings. There are two capoeira classes each day with a roda in the evening depending on the energy of the group. All classes are taught in a personal timeless environment under the guidance of experienced Instructors from Grupo Cordao du Ouro. One of the most unique things about this camp is the rare opportunity to live in such close contact with such experienced capoeira teachers. This allows the learning of capoeira to go beyond the boundaries of the classes and into every moment spent with the teacher during your time at the camp. Throughout the camp all aspects of capoeira will be explored; birembau playing, drumming, singing, acrobatics, ritual, history, capoeira etica, maculele and samba. Another special thing about this camp is the ability to experience the community aspect of capoeira. For a short time you are immersed in a temporary commune of capoeiristas all sharing a desire to learn and develop their growing passion for capoeira.
